Screen Northants Limited is not a registered charity. We operate as a not-for-profit social enterprise: all surpluses are reinvested into our films and academy.
2. Use of this website
We provide this website free of charge, "as is", for general information about Screen Northants and to allow you to contact us, sign up to our newsletter and make donations.
You agree not to:
- Use the site in any way that breaks any UK law, or that causes (or may cause) damage to the site or impairs its availability.
- Use any automated system (scraper, bot, crawler) to access or collect data from the site without our written permission.
- Submit anything via our forms that you do not have the right to submit, or that is unlawful, threatening, defamatory, obscene, discriminatory, or otherwise objectionable.
- Impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity.
3. Intellectual property
All content on this site, including text, images, video stills, film footage, the Screen Northants name and "SN" logo, is the property of Screen Northants or its licensors and is protected by UK and international copyright and trademark law.
You may view, share and link to pages for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not reproduce, redistribute, modify or use any of our content commercially without our prior written consent.
4. Donations
Donations are processed by Stripe. Card details are entered on Stripe's secure hosted checkout, we never see or store them.
One-off donations
- Donations are made in pounds sterling (GBP) and processed immediately.
- Donations are non-refundable except where required by law (for example, if a donation was made by genuine mistake, please contact us within 14 days).
- You will receive an email receipt from Stripe.
Monthly (recurring) donations
- Monthly donations are taken on the same date each month using the payment method you set up at checkout.
- You can cancel at any time using our self-service portal at /donate/manage, we'll email you a secure link to Stripe's hosted billing portal where you can cancel, update your payment method or change the amount. You can also contact us at info@screennorthants.co.uk. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, no further payments will be taken after that.
- We may pause the programme on notice if circumstances change. If we do, we'll cancel active subscriptions and let you know.
Tax treatment of donations
Because Screen Northants Limited is not a registered charity, donations made through this site are not eligible for Gift Aid and are not tax-deductible for the donor. Your contribution is a voluntary gift to the company and will be used to support our films and academy activity.
5. Newsletter
When you sign up to our newsletter we'll send you occasional updates about our films and the academy. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link at the bottom of any email or by emailing us.
6. Ambassador / industry-professional enquiries
Submitting an ambassador enquiry is an expression of interest only and is not a binding agreement. Any actual involvement, mentoring, on-set support, sponsorship etc, will be agreed separately in writing.
7. Third-party links
The site may link to third-party websites (for example, our partners and sponsors). We are not responsible for the content, accuracy or privacy practices of those sites.
8. Availability and changes
We aim to keep the website available, but we do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may suspend, withdraw or change any part of the site at any time without notice.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Screen Northants is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of this website. Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any other liability which cannot be limited or excluded under UK law.

How we handle your personal information is set out in our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy. By using the site you acknowledge those policies.
